The Nike Zoom Kobe V is the next evolution of basketball footwear, emphasizing superior performance fit with upper and bottom technologies working in a system, one supporting and enhancing the other. It is one of the lightest basketball shoes, but for Kobe that’s kinda expected. Perforated foam mesh composite tongue provides more comfort and breathability. Added abrasion resistance in the tip and forefoot by second layer skins. Heel construction gives better conformance to the foot while maintaining superior stability. Dual counter and fabric collar. Cushioning is provided by 6mm Zoom Air unit in the forefoot and 14mm Zoom Air unit in the heel. Outsole provides great traction and durability with strategically placed outrigger and minimal wrapping in the heel.
